Palwa Gold-Plated & Molded Glass Chandelier

Germany, 1970s Approx. 30 cm Diameter

A refined mid-century chandelier by Palwa (Palme & Walter), Germany, crafted in gold-plated metal and suspended with sculptural molded glass elements.

The cylindrical body is composed of vertically arranged textured glass modules featuring Palwa’s signature flowing relief pattern. The glass refracts light beautifully, creating a soft, diffused glow while maintaining a structured architectural silhouette.

The gold-plated frame adds warmth and elegance, elevating the piece beyond standard brass examples. Compact yet impactful, this chandelier is ideal for smaller spaces where statement lighting is desired without overwhelming scale.

A sophisticated example of 1970s European design — glamorous, sculptural, and highly collectible.
