This vintage rug is made from an old, hand-knotted Persian rug that is at least 40-60 years old and has a long history. Each rug is carefully selected and undergoes a unique process of minimizing pile and neutralizing the color before being painted in an exciting new color. The result is a blend of old and new, traditional rug design combined with a modern retro style. Vintage rugs can lose some of their original features and become even more unique over time with new, modern colors and unique older designs.
It has been treated with permanent dye.
